This project, along with four other SEQIPRAIL infrastructure projects, is being delivered by QR via a program alliance with the private sector.
Partners in the alliance, known as the TrackStar Alliance, are QR, Thiess United Group (a joint venture between Thiess Pty Ltd and United Group Infrastructure), Connell Wagner and Maunsell Australia.
The benefits of the alliance include a cooperative and flexible approach to the delivery of complex projects over time, building strong relationships with the private sector, and achieving considerable savings in time and cost to QR and the industry.
