Abigroup Contractors have been selected to form an alliance with Queensland Rail (QR) to construct the civil and station works for theSalisburyto Kuraby Third Track project, to start in September 2006.
This is the third alliance to be negotiated by QR to deliver new rail infrastructure in South East Queensland.
Once complete in early 2008, theSalisburyto Kuraby third track will bring an increase in track capacity on the rapidly growing Gold Coast rail corridor for extra passenger rail services.
