Background

The Darra to Springfield Transport Corridor is the first integrated road and rail project for South East Queensland.  The project is part of the Queensland Government's South East Queensland Infrastructure Plan and Program (SEQ Infrastructure Plan).

The size and complexity of the project means that staging is required, enabling costs and construction to be managed appropriately whilst delivering vital public infrastructure.

The project is being delivered by the Horizon Alliance - a collaboration between QR and the Department of Main Roads with John Holland Pty Ltd, GHD Pty Ltd and Kellogg Brown and Root Pty Ltd (KBR).
